穴位贴敷联合艾灸预防老年腹股沟疝术后腹胀便秘的效果

[摘要] Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of acupoint application combined with moxibustion in prevention of postoperative abdominal distention and constipation in elderly patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery. Methods 〓Totally 60 elderly patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. Patients of both two groups received routine care after operation, and the aupoint application combined with moxibustion was carried out in the observation group. The indicators of abdominal distention and constipation were observed, and the satisfactory degree of patients was evaluated. Results 〓Patients in the observation group had earlier time of postoperative anal exhaust and defecation compared with that of patients in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative abdominal distention was higher in the observation group than that of controls(6.67% vs. 26.67%, P<0.05). The satisfaction rate was higher in the observation group than that of controls(P<0.05). Conclusion 〓Acupoint application combined with moxibustion is potentially effective to improve the gastrointestinal peristalsis of patients after inguinal hernia surgery, so as to reduce the risk of postoperative abdominal distention and constipation.
