Forest Code (Law 12651) Brazil 2012

[摘要] Brazil’s new Forest Code (Law no. 12.651) has been in force since 2012. This Code introduced new instruments that, once effectively implemented, allow for better monitoring of land use which will be crucial in the combat against deforestation and in ensuring environmental compliance, as well as in attaining Brazil’s goals with respect to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
