Minister of Forestry Regulation P.68/Menhut-II/2008 on Implementation of Demonstration Activities Reducing Carbon Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation Indonesia 2008

[摘要] The regulation explains that REDD demonstration activities are implemented by proponents who may be assisted by partners. Proponents are defined as government, forest timber product utility license holders, and managers of customary forest. While partners include government, international organisations, private entities, individuals. The regulation spells out that it is aimed at testing and developing methodologies, technology and institutions to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation. It states clearly what application and approval procedure must be undertaken and defines the maximum period for a demonstration as 5 years.
