Energy Policy Micronesia 2012

[摘要] Executive In 2012, the Federate States of Micronesia (Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae) put in place an energy policy, which calls for a 30 percent reduction in use of fossil fuels and 50 percent increase in energy efficiency by 2020. In addition, it sets broad goals of: 1. Provision of affordable and safe electricity to all the households in the main island center by 2015. 2. Electrification of 80% of rural public facilities by 2015. 3. Electrification of 90% of rural households by 2020. 4. Enhance the supply side energy efficiency of the FSM by 20% by 2015.
