Energy efficiency label and Standard Programme Korea (South) 1992

[摘要] "Under this program, manufacturers (importers) are mandated to produce and sell energy efficient products from the outset. This program is Korea’s core energy efficiency standards & labeling scheme. Energy Efficiency Label and Standard Program enables consumers to identify energy efficient products easily by (1) mandatory indication of energy efficiency grade from 1st to 5th grade (2) mandatory reporting, and (3) applying MEPS (Minimum Energy Performance Standard)" (Kemco, 2011).
