Suriname National Forest Policy
[摘要] The National Forest Policy of Suriname defines the spatial use of more than 90 per cent of the country's surface. It enters in the scope of the Forest Management Act and regulate economic activities such as timber production, and other social activities. The Policy acknowledges the carbon sequestration function of Suriname's vast forests and highlights the importance of conservation to maintain such characteristic.
