Outline of National Plan for Forest Land Conservation and Utilization (2010-2020)

[摘要] It is proposed that China will ensure a steady increase in its national forest stock volume in the next decade, for which the quota management system for forest land expropriation has been adopted to reinforce forest land conservation. China increased afforestation subsidies from RMB 100 to 200 Yuan per Mu (1/15 hectare). These measures have effectively protected and increased forest resources in China. During 2006-2010, totally 24.67 million hectares of lands were afforested.
