Samoa Early Grade Reading Assessment : Results Report

[摘要] Early grade reading assessment (EGRA) isa simple instrument that measures foundational readingskills of early primary school students in grades (years)1-3. The results are used to identify progress towardsachieving reading fluency and comprehension, which areessential skills for learning and completing primaryeducation. The overall purpose of Sāmoa early grade readingassessment (SEGRA) therefore is to provide an initialmeasurement of how well children are learning to read andwrite in their local language in the first three-year levelsof primary schooling. This report summarizes the results ofSEGRA conducted in Sāmoa from August 21 to September 7, 2017.
