Pakistan : Sindh Provincial Accountability Assessment

[摘要] The Sindh PFAA was undertaken during2003 to support the Sindh Structural Adjustment Credit andalso to support the overall Country Financial AccountabilityAssessment (CFAA) which was completed in December 2003. Theassessment covers budget developments and execution,financial reporting/accounting and internal control,external audit, and legislative oversight. This assessmentnotes that there is a longer term need for evolving acomprehensive legal framework of financial management inaddition to the more short-term strengthening measuresalready partly underway in the Sindh Reforms Program.Theassessment proposes a time-bound action plan, contained inthe Action Matrix at the end of the report, for movingforward on each of the areas of reform and capacity building.
