Synthesis of Phenanthroizidine Alkaloids and a Practical Total Synthesis of (208)-(+)-Camptothecin

[摘要] Chapter I describes the total syntheses of the representative phenanthroizidine alkaloids tylophorine, antofine and of their seco congeners, septicine and julandine, which have been accomplished through the CiufoliniByrne pyridine synthesis. Chapter II discusses the evolution of our strategy for the synthesis of (208)-( + )-Camptothecin.
