Los Alamos Plutonium Facility Waste Management System, 2000.

[摘要] The Nuclear Materials Technology Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory has recognized for many years that the cradle to grave tracking of transuranic waste could be done most expeditiously by a computer network system based on real-time process guidance, data generation, and tracking. Toward this goal, the TA-55 waste management system (WMS) was implemented at the plutonium facility. The WMS has changed the paper trail into a computer trail, saving time and eliminating errors and inconsistencies in the process.
