Savannah River Site Accelerated Clean-Up Mission: Salt Waste Disposal.

[摘要] High Level Waste at SRS is in two principal forms: Sludge and Salt (water-soluble waste). This paper discusses a plan to dispose of the salt waste which will save up to $5.4 billion (life cycle). The flowsheet for each process is described, annual production estimates shown, regulatory issues discussed and the progress to date summarized.
