VARIATIONAL FORMULATION OF THE PROBLEMS OF MECHANICS AND ITS MATRIX ANALOGY

[摘要] This paper deals with the different methods of variational formulation of nonlinear problems of mechanics. The core is expressed in the form of four theorems. The matrix analogy makes this approach more understandable. Application to the initial value problem of mechanical system is shown.
