The influence of minority stress on the neurobiological correlates of executive functioning
[摘要] Marginalized groups, including 2SLGBTQIA+ populations(2-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and other sexual and/or gender minorities), havenot been well represented in medical, psychological, andneuroscientific research and are often further stigmatizedwithin the research context (1). With their novelneuroimaging design, a recent investigation by Wang andcolleagues (2) is noteworthy for their focus on sexual minorityindividuals from a non-Western society, especially whenconsidering the overrepresentation of W.E.I.R.D. (Western, educated, industrialized, rich and democratic) samplesin research (3).
