[摘要] Thefollowingexperimentalworkwascarriedoutduringthefirstsemesterof1988inafarmnamedquot;ElPasodelasAguilasquot;locatedonthehighwayVillavicencio-Restrepo,Meta.Theclimaticcharacteristicsofthisregionare:averagetemperature:24°C,pluviometricprecipitation3,500mmperyear,relativehumidity95%Theexperimentalperioddependedonthenumberofdaysrequiredtoobtaintheoptimumweight(90kg)forcommercializingthepigs.Theaverageinitialweightwas20kgperpig.ThemainpurposeofthepresentstudywastoevaluatethenutritivevalueoftheAfricanPalm'sCachaza,inordertoconsideritspossibleuseasanenergysourceformeatproduction.TheexperimentaltreatmentswerearrangedinordertograduallysubstitutetheenergyfromsorghumbyPalm'sCachazaaccordingtothefollowingtreatments:T0:100%oftheenergyfromthetraditionalenergysource(sorghum)T25:25%ofthetraditionalenergywasreplacedbyquot;Cachazaquot;T50:50%ofthetraditionalenergywasreplacedbyquot;Cachazaquot;T75:75%ofthetraditionalenergywasreplacedbyquot;Cachazaquot;T100:100%ofthetraditionalenergywasreplacedbyquot;Cachazaquot;Liveweightswererecordedevery14days.Thefollowinginformationwasalsorecorded:Initialandfinalweights;Numberofdaysspentineachphase;Dailyweightincrease;Dailyfoodconsumption;Feedefficiency.Dietsforgrowing-fatteningpigswereformulatedinwhichthecerealcomponent(sorghumgrain)wassubstitutedonaniso-caloricbasisbytheoilbyproductatratesof0(control),25,50,75and100%.Proteinwasthesameforalldiets,accordingtoNRCstandards,andconsistedofsoybeanmealfortifiedwithmineralsandvitamins.Rateofliveweightgainincreasedlinearlywithincreasingsubstitutionofcerealgrain:525,592,632,629,and639g/day,respectivelyforincreasingproportionsoftheoilpalmresidue;feedconversionrateswere4.1,3.5,3.4,3.7,and4.4.Theweightincreaseintheoverallperiodshowsthatthedietswith100%cachazaisthebestalternativeforgrowing-finishingpigs.
