Management of aromatase inhibitor-induced arthralgia

[摘要] ABSTRACT Aromatase inhibitors (AI) are commonly used as adjuvant treatment for post menopausal women with hormone receptor positive early breast cancer. Aromatase inhibitor induced arthralgia is frequently observed with both steroidal and non-steroidal aromatase inhibitors. The mechanism of AI induced arthralgia remains unknown and there is limited data available through clinical trails utilizing AI. We have reviewed the pertinent information from a clinical perspective including the construction of an algorithm to treat AI induced arthralgia.
