Adenovirus Type 12 Oncogenicity in Newborn Hamsters: The Effect of Pokeweed Mitogen

[摘要] Pokeweed mitogen administered to newborn hamsters causes a marked reduction in tumor incidence when adenovirus type 12 is inoculated 72 hr after birth. Accelerated attainment of immunologic competence with subsequent tumor rejection is suggested as the explanation for the observed tumor inhibition.
