Quantitative Studies of the Properdin-Complement System

[摘要] The formation of PZ proceeds optimally at a Mg++ concentration of 0.001 M -0.005 M . The PZ complex deteriorates at a rate proportional to the temperature. PZ inactivates C′3 in the absence of divalent cations. The inactivation is inhibited in undiluted RP, E.D.T.A. treated pig serum, or 1,3,4 fraction. The optimal range of pH for the reaction between PZ and C′3 is between 6.4 and 8.1.
