Inactivation of Poliomyelitis Virus and of Diphtheria Toxin by Various Endocrine Principles

[摘要] 1. 1. Inactivation of poliomyelitis virus in vitro occurred with certain biological products of human and animal origin containing anterior pituitary-like principles and with the cortical and medullary adrenal hormones.2. 2. It could also be shown that diphtheria toxin is inactivated in vitro by pregnancy urine preparations and by adrenal cortical hormone.3. 3. The possible nature of this protective principle is discussed in its relation to the recognized endocrine secretions.
