Staining of Vaccinia-Infected L Cells with Brilliant Cresyl Blue

[摘要] Although over 95% of normal L cells in cultures 3 to 5 days old are stained by brilliant cresyl blue, cells infected with vaccinia virus tend to remain unstained. This tendency may develop 2 hr after infection and increase to involve most of the cells.
