Determination of Glucose in Serum and Whole Blood: Statistical Relationships between Values Obtained by Different Methods

[摘要] Several methods are available for determination of glucose in whole blood and serum. When comparing the results of these methods on a single blood sample, one may find significantly different values. Here, equations are provided for converting values for whole blood glucose to values for serum glucose, obtained by different methods.
