A large variety of architectural and structural precast/prestressed concrete components were used effectively to build this all-precast, 10-story mixed-use parking facility in Baltimore, Maryland. A major ingredient in the success of this project was the implementation of the design-build concept. The entire project was completed during a total design-build fast-track schedule of 15 months. This article discusses the historic aspects of the building, the architectural requirements, structural detailing and production/erection highlights of the project.
