GERMINATION OF SEEDS OF CORN TREATED WITH SOURCES AND DOSIS OF ZINC AND BORON
[摘要] The present study was undertaken to determine the germination of corn seeds treated with different sources of zinc and boron during storage. The experiment was conducted at the Departament of Fitotecnia of the University of Santa Maria during the period of october 1989 to june 1990. The treatments was a fatorial 2x8, and treatments the hybrids AG 64 and C 408 and the levels zero, 60g/ha Zn + 2g/ha B from the sources Diol, Triol and Biocrop, 90g/ha Zn + 3g/ha B from the sources Diol and Triol, 60g/ha Zn and 2g/ha B from the source Biocrop. The germination test was performed, in paper roll, just after the seed treatments, 30, 143 and 210 days later. The Biocrop zinc and boron sources, isolated or in combination did not differed of the check treatment, which indicates that the seed treatment with this product is feasible. The source of Triol showed its best result at the dose of 60g/ha Zn + 2g/ha B, whereas the Diol source reduced the normal seedlings.
