A Woman in Her 70s on Anticoagulation With Sudden Shock
[摘要] Figures Figure 1 Abdomen and pelvis CT scan with IV contrast: large retroperitoneal hematoma measuring 16.9 cm in diameter (arrow), with active contrast extravasation confirming an acute hemorrhage. A woman in her 70s with history of stage IV lung cancer and May-Thurner syndrome presented with dyspnea and lower extremity swelling. She was discharged 1 month prior on rivaroxaban for in-stent thrombosis of an iliac stent with extension of thrombus into the proximal vena cava. Her lower extremity edema was attributed to her iliac vein thrombosis, and she was treated with continued anticoagulation.
