Integrating Gender into Extension Services : Rural Women in the Sahel

[摘要] Selected study findings on ruralwomen's economic activities, with implications, lessonslearnt and recommendations for extension services werepresented in findings no. 46, August 1995. To reiterate, thesector study, rural women in the Sahel and their access toagricultural extension, overview of five country studies,covers Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal and TheGambia. This present issue focuses on lessons learnt aboutincorporating gender issues in agricultural extension services.
